The legal firm Fraser, Nevett & Frawley was first established in 1915 by R.H. Ramsay who later accepted Mr. Desmond Gaunt into partnership in 1953 and thereafter, until 1967 under the name of R.H. Ramsay and Gaunt.
When the present senior partner of the firm Darrell Fraser joined the firm in 1967 it changed its name to Ramsay, Gaunt & Fraser. John Nevett was admitted as a partner in 1981 and Frank Frawley in 1987. Michael Ronaldson joined in 1980 and resigned in 1990 upon his election into the Federal Parliament.
The firm’s name was changed to Fraser, Nevett & Frawley in 1997.
