If you believe that a decision made by a government body or municipal council has been made unfairly or without merit, you are entitled to contest this decision through the Planning and Environment List of VCAT.

Similarly, if you believe that a proposed development will effect your property, or if your planning proposal has been subject to a complaint, you have rights under the law.

We can assist you in all matters related to Planning Disputes, such as:

  • Advice as to your rights;
  • Negotiation with the relevant party, Council or Government Body;
  • Representing you at a hearing of VCAT;
  • Preparing written submissions for your hearing;
  • Seeking the opinion of Counsel;
  • Obtaining expert opinion.
